Thanksgiving Autumn Leaves Manicure
Hello, lovelies!
Today I have one of my new favorite manicures. I'm a sucker for dark vampy colors this time of year. They just scream "autumn," and you all know how I feel about an accent nail (or three). This is crazy easy and looks insanely intricate. The trick? Water decals!
A website called Born Pretty contacted me a little while back. I'd like to begin by making it perfectly clear that this is not a sponsored post. I am not being paid to use or endorse their products. In fact, I'd actually purchased from them in the past and jumped at the idea of reviewing/demoing some of their newer products. Even better? They gave me a coupon code to pass on to you all! For 10% off the ENTIRE WEBSITE use coupon code: AINW10.
Awesomesauce? Yup.
Now, on to the tutorial!

Haunted Halloween Treats
Hello lovelies!
It's that time of year again! Happy Haunted Days! Halloween is a time of fun foods, silly tricks and all around fun. To help get you in the spirit, and liven up any get together, I compiled a few of my favorite simply spooky halloween treats. Click on the video below to see step by step instructions on each of these spooky treats.

First up, we have our "Mummy Dogs". These are by no means an original. They've been around forever, but who can resist them? They're adorable and you get to play with your food.
These only require three ingredients: hot dogs, crescent roll dough, and red pepper flakes (optional).
Next up are the "Witch's Brooms". Talk about simple, these babies are only two ingredients: pretzel sticks and string cheese. These are great for any party, any age. They remind me of the broom Mickey uses in Fantasia that comes to life and wreaks havoc. Luckily for us, this has never happened, so they should be safe.

For dessert/ a sweeter snack, there are "Bloody Bandages". These come to life with a little help from a few props. Once again, this recipe only requires three ingredients: graham crackers, cream cheese, and strawberry jam (or raspberry...really anything red).

To wash it all down, we have a true classic, the Shirley Temple. To put a festive twist on this favorite, use syringes to inject the grenadine into the beverage. If you'd like to make these more adult friendly, just add your spirit of choice.
Watch this video to see step-by-step how to create all of these treats.
Thanks for stopping by! xoxox

Fourth of July Nail Art
Hello, lovelies... Summer is officially upon us!!! The fourth is tomorrow and I for one am ready for a BBQ and some fireworks. To help ring in Independence Day, I came up with a manicure inspired by a vintage flag.

Orange Lip Trend
Watch out, lovelies! I think I'm in love. ♥ ♥ ♥ Luckily for me (and you) this trend it seems to have some serious lasting power. Show some love for the orange lip!
From the runway to the red carpet, even the supermarket, this trend has officially taken over. Everyone from Ashley Benson (one of the stars from my not-so-guilty-pleasure PLL) to "Scandal"s Kerry Washington, even the cashier at Trader Joe's can be found rocking this look. It's appeal is virtually is limitless.

First Impression Review : L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation
So, I've been rather curious about this "magic" little baby. It's been out for quite some time at this point and is by no means a new product. I didn't feel the need to run out and buy it when it first hit the shelves, but last time I was in CVS perusing the makeup department all L'Oreal products were on sale. Leave it to me to use a sale as an excuse to buy

Ombré Heart Valentines Manicure
Today I have a fun and easy Valentines-y nail tutorial for you all. This is a manicure that I wear often (not just for this holiday). It is fun and cute and as always, totally customizable. One of my favorite ways to make the look a bit more suitable for summer is to use teal in the place of pink. Have fun and make it your own!

EASY Halloween Pop Art Comic Lady
Hello lovelies,
Today I decided to create an easy Halloween outfit that is inspired by Americana pop art and classic comic book characters. Comics have made a huge appearance in movies and television in the past several years. Instead of trying to re-create a very specific or well known character, I turned myself into my comic alter ego. Imagine landing in the setting of a classic Spiderman comics or a Warhol painting and let the fun begin.

Banana Peanutbutter Cup Froyo
![]() |
| My FroYo obsession is obvious if you see my Instagram. |
Ok, so if you follow me on Instagram you've probably gathered that I have a ridiculous obsession with froyo. I post about it probably once a week and eat it maybe more than that. Luckily this "healthy" alternative is a little bit better than softserve ice cream, but it is definitely not cheaper. That, and when a craving hits, I'm not always able to jump up and leave the house.

Raspberry Lemonade Macorons
Hello, lovelies!
Macarons (or "mac-ah-rhons" as said in my terrible french accent) are ridiculously popular right now. That is a-ok with me. I've got to say, these are a fairly intimidating cookie to make, and I've had my share of fails... but when you finally get it, it is SOOOOOO worth it! I literally burnt the first batch that came out with "feet" because I was so excited I felt the need to dance around my kitchen. I totally forgot that I hadn't taken them out of the oven. Whoops.
Oh well. Now that I've gotten that litte thrill out of the way, I feel fairly capable of making these adorable little treats. Hopefully after my fails (which have led to quite a bit of new found wisdom) I will be able to steer you a little clearer. Be sure to fully read through this recipe and watch the video before starting, and you should be fine. Should be... (even if they don't turn out with fancy little feet, they still taste pretty damned good!)

Spring Lookbook 2013
Hello lovelies!
I've had several requests the past mont or so to do a spring fashion video. I'd really wanted to wait until it was actually feeling (and looking) like spring where I am, so I've been holding out. Last weekend I finally got around to it! I made my very first lookbook!
Keep in mind that I've not done one of these before. Having said that, it was a total blast. I'm thinking of doing at least on per season. I had so much fun rummaging through my closet an outing together some super springy outfits. I hope you all enjoy!

April Favorites
Hey there, Lovelies!
Last month was busy, busy, busy.
This April I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to go down to Georgia (with quick day trips to North Carolina and Tennessee) to visit family and friends. It was sooooooo much fun!
We went up to Tennessee to visit an amazing aquarium, ate some ridiculously delicious southern cuisine, and strolled through the beautiful Carolinian mountains. I had an absolute blast.

Spring Floral Manicure
Hello lovelies!I love spring! It's the perfect time of year. What is there not to love? Sunny days, flowing dresses, and flowers everywhere... Even on your fingertips!
I was inspired by one of my favorite dishtowels. I know this is maybe an odd thing to be inspired by, but it's just so cute and so pretty. Of course adding in some polkadots, stripes and glitter didn't hurt at all.

S'mores Mug Cake Cupcake
Hello lovelies!
I've been having a crazy chocolate craving lately. I don't know what is going on. It's like the chocolate monster has taken over. I've been hoarding any and all mini cadbury eggs that I can find and have created a fairly sizable stash that should last me well into the summer.... but now I'm just rambling.
What I'm trying to tell you is that I came up with just the thing to satiate my cocoa cravings: single serve s'mores cake. Made in the microwave. How easy is that!?
Did I mention that I used homemade marshmallows? This is officially the best thing ever. I mean, marshmallows and chocolate basically equal heaven. What's not to love?

"Olive eggs and cheese!" sandwich w/avacado spinach and hot sauce.
BLOG TAKEOVER !!!!!!!!!!
"Olive eggs and cheese" sandwich w/avacado spinach and hot sauce.
by Ariels boyfriend Andrew
Hey Everyone,
I was making breakfast this morning and took a picture of some eggs and then it hit me! Break into Ariel's blog while she's gone for the week without her knowing and post my breakfast ! Its been deemed the blog takeover! or just me making breakfast with a nicer plate.
( Disclaimer: Tho it isn't Ariel's style I thought I would hold true to the blog world and use excessive punctuations {Disclaimer about the Disclaimer: I'm techie not a writer and the aforementioned disclaimer sounded like a good cover for my poor use of punctuation's} guess I have to close the other
disclaimers parentheses )
