Popcorn... All gown up.

This one is insanely quick and easy. I made it on Monday night before I settled in for a movie. It literally takes the 3 min (or whatever that preset is on the microwave) to make an awesome batch of popcorn!

Ingredients:
  • 1 bag of your favorite microwavable popcorn
  • 2 Tbs really good shredded parmasean or peccorino cheese (feel free to use more)
  • 1 tsp herbs de province (you can use an Italian seasoning too)
  • 1 tsp each fresh rosemary and thyme (please feel free to experiment with your choice of herbs)
  • A few good grinds of fresh pepper
Ok, so this really is quite easy. Throw the popcorn in the microwave for however long it tells you to. While it's busy getting happy, chop up all of the herbs and cheese until they are as small as you can get them. If you feel like it, you can use a food processor, but I don't like the extra clean up.

When the corn is done popping, open up the bag. Pour most of your delicious mixture into the bag, close it, and do a lovely little dance. Shaking the bag ALOT helps evenly distribute all of the yumminess. When you're done shaking what your mama gave ya, pour into your favorite serving dish and sprinkle the remaining goodness on top.

Time to sit down and enjoy the show!
